Police say the woman arrested after stealing a vehicle last week in the city of Ithaca was arrested again for burglary.
On December 25th around 6 p.m. police responded to West Seneca Street for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival they established a perimeter and determined that the suspect, later identified as 32-year-old Amanda Linderberry, was still inside.
She attempted to flee out a window, according to a news release, but was quickly apprehended.
Linderberry was charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property.
She had previously been arrested on December 22nd after stealing a vehicle. She was then arrested on December 24th for trespassing. In both instances, she was released on her own recognizance.
Police say Linderberry was arraigned and held on $3,000 bail.
The investigation into these incidents remain active. Police ask anyone with information that could help to contact IPD.
