Deputies: 12-year-old threatened with stun gun, injured during domestic incident

A Sodus man faces several felony charges after a domestic incident where a 12-year-old was threatened with a stun gun.

Nicholas Stevenson, age 34, was charged with aggravated family offense, criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child, menacing, two counts of criminal mischief, and two counts of harassment.

The charges stem from a domestic incident around 10 p.m. on Wednesday where Stevenson threatened a 12-year-old with an electric stun gun, damaged property, and injured the child.

When deputies attempted to arrest Stevenson, he resisted and fought with deputies – kicking one of them while they were taking him into custody

Stevenson was eventually taken into custody and processed on the charges.

He will appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
