A 26-year-old Rockland County man pleaded guilty last week in Ontario County Court to an array of charges – including burglary, kidnapping, robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon.
The Finger Lakes Times reports that Eddie Marte, age 26, is among two individuals who were arrested for holding a man against his will in the city, and torturing him.
A trial is pending against Malice Weems, age 19, of Pennsylvania in the same case. The same can be said for Thomas Ferraro, a Geneva man facing charges.
However, Marte and Weems, in addition to Thomas Bovaird, of Horseheads, are all implicated in a separate case. They face murder and assault charges in the Southern Tier after a New York City man’s body was found in Pennsylvania.
Authorities referred to the Geneva incident as a targeted attack.
