Firefighters spent hours at a Dryden Road address following a structure fire on Monday.
The fire was reported around 6 a.m. at 151 Dryden Road in Ithaca. It’s a college town apartment building.
The fire was apparently on the third floor, where firefighters found heavy smoke. While the fire was quickly extinguished several people were displaced overnight.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
