A Canandaigua man faces an array of charges after an investigation at the Ontario County Jail.
On November 28th, Daniel Sims, 31, of Canandaigua, engaged in a physical altercation with another inmate with the intent to cause injury.
Sims remained in custody after the incident and will answer the attempted assault charge at a later date.
Sims was also charged with grand larceny stemming from an October investigation, where he accessed a family member’s debit card to make a series of purchases.
The total loss was around $767, according to deputies.
Sims will answer those charges in Canandaigua court.
