Montezuma woman steals clothing from Junius business

The Seneca county Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Montezuma resident following an investigation into a theft that happened on November 6th.

Stefanie Johns, age 30, of Montezuma was charged with petit larceny after turning herself in at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center.


Two clothing items were allegedly stolen from the store by Johns at around 3:30 a.m. on the day of the incident at a Junius business. She was turned over to staff at the Seneca County Correctional Facility for processing.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
