With Thanksgiving approaching, millions of Americans are preparing their menu options. Trader Joe’s has a few of their own unique items to add this year as a way to brighten your dinner spread.
One of these items is a seasoning called “Everything but the Leftovers.” The seasoning is great for your Thanksgiving leftovers. It’s made up of dehydrated onion, black pepper, turmeric powder, dried celery seed, ground sage, rosemary powder, dried thyme, dried parsley and a bit of sea salt.
According to Local Syracuse, it’s also good on eggs, cooked veggies, popcorn, meat, stuffing, and gravy. The spice is limited so be sure to grab yours while you can.
Another unique item to add to your menu is their Sparkling Cranberry Ginger beverage. This drink is entirely alcohol free but vodka or tequila, among other things, can be added.
Trader Joe’s has created their own unique cornbread stuffing side dish that you can simply heat and serve. The flavors added include roasted apples, dried cranberry, and savory herbs. They also offer a cranberry orange relish. The oranges give this cranberry sauce side some zest.
Scallopini potatoes are a great side that you can add to the table as well. The thinly sliced potatoes are covered in a creamy four cheese Italian blend for those cheese lovers.
A nice alternative to dessert are the Apple Pumpkin Hand Pies Trader Joe’s offers. These come in packs of two and are made with pumpkin puree and Northern Spy apples. They’re miniature as well and can be held right in your hands.
Finally, for the coffee and tea people love to have with dessert, Trader Joe’s offers a Maple Espresso Black Tea. The blend is made with black and herbal tea leaves and has a natural maple flavor. Each box comes with 20 tea bags.
