The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team (2-1) bounced back from Tuesday’s loss with a 76-48 victory over the Northeastern Huskies (0-4) Saturday evening at the JMA Wireless Dome.
With the win, the Orange improved to 9-0 all-time against the Huskies, and head coach Jim Boeheim officially recorded his 1,000th victory.
Three players finished in double figures for Syracuse. Joe Girard led the way with a game-high 21 points, including five three-pointers. Jesse Edwards netted 19 on eight-of-ten shooting, while Judah Mintz added 18.
