A waitress in Knoxville, Tennessee was happy to find out that she received a large tip during her service on Saturday night.

When serving former NFL player Chad Johnson, he left her a huge tip.
Johnson is a six time NFL Pro Bowl selection. He visited an IHOP on Saturday morning before stopping at the Neyland Stadium to watch Tennessee vs. Kentucky.
Johnson posted a receipt showing he left a $1,000 tip on a $14.29 bill a little after 9:30 a.m.
With the tip he left a message, “It’s my first time in the ‘ville, going to the game tonight but I don’t know the Rocky Top song.”
Johnson had tweeted he would be visiting the area for his daughter’s visit to the University of Tennessee’s Track and Field team.
She is currently a senior at St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida and currently holds two state titles for the 800 meter dash.
This isn’t the first time Johnson has tipped big at a restaurant.
He has tweeted other 4-figure tips along with little messages, like “Proverbs 11:25.”
Johnson played for the NFL for a decade between 2001 and 2011. He’s the holder of 10 Cincinnati Bengals franchise records as well as ranking 32nd in NFL history for most career receiving yards.
