Deputies: Lyons woman faces felony DWI charges because kids were in the backseat

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons resident after a sick or intoxicated driver complaint on Route 96.

Morgan Lee Garrett, 30, of Lyons was charged with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs.


Garrett was found to be operating a vehicle in front of Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack in the town of Farmington while impaired by drugs.

There were two children in the backseat of the vehicle, according to deputies. She also had a previous DWI conviction, which elevated all of the charges to felonies.

She was transported to the Ontario County Jail for processing.
