What is SYRACHA’CUSE?
SYRACHA’CUSE is a hot sauce boutique and tasting bar from Baldwinsville, NY. As a vendor at the NYS Fair, the business set up a small tasting bar and brought many different sauces that people could try and buy.
Hannah Jasinski, a sales associate at SYRACHA’CUSE, told FingerLakes1.com a little bit more about the business.
“The hot sauces that we’re selling here at the fair are the owners recipes. They’re made of all local ingredients and some of the flavors are done in conjunction with other local businesses such as 1911, Recess Coffee, Ommegang and Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
In addition, the food vendor sells small batch barbecue sauces, dry rubs, and other sauces featured on the hit YouTube show, “Hot Ones.”

SYRACHA’CUSE’s new hot sauce boutique and tasting bar will open soon in Baldwinsville
Jasinski said the business started with her boss, Mike Sharlow, and his daughter Marissa as it was a family business first. Now they have expanded and are planning to officially open the hot sauce boutique and tasting bar in a few weeks.
“We have a location in the village of Baldwinsville that’s set to open in about a week or two after the fair is over. So come check us out there, 60 Oswego street in Baldwinsville,” said Jasinski.
Thanks to the New York State Fair, the hot sauce business has gained attention from people visiting the fair and Jasinski said the turnout has been great so far.
“We’ve had a lot of business since the fair started. I get a lot of people come up that really want to try our sauces either there’s a certain flavor that catches their eye, because we have a lot of unique flavors, or sometimes people just want to try our hottest one and get that experience. So that’s fun to watch,” said Jasinski.
“As far as being a new vendor goes, I think that it’s going pretty well and that we would definitely come back next year because I mean it’s a pretty good time.”
Make sure to check out all the new vendors at the fair and if you’re a fan of hot sauce you have to check out SYRACHA’CUSE.
