No one speaks at public hearing for Wilkins RV, Seneca Gardens PILOT packages: Final approval slated for September

No one spoke for or against a package of financial incentives being offered by the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency at a meeting this week.

The board met for a pair of public hearings held to discuss PILOT packages for Wilkins RV and Seneca Gardens Solar.

Wilkins RV is seeking a 10-year PILOT agreement, an exemption from paying sales tax on the purchase of equipment, supplies, and materials for construction, as well as an exemption from paying mortgage recording tax. The total value is $861,886.

The company currently has a facility in Victor, which will be shifted from there to a new $12.4 million facility in Junius along Route 318.

Final approvals for the two packages will be on the agenda for the IDA’s September 8 meeting.
