Report of erratic driver leads to DWI arrest in Macedon

Deputies report the arrest of a Clifton Springs man following a vehicle and traffic complaint in Macedon.

Armando Gomez-Gomez, 30, of Clifton Springs was charged with DWI, open container, and unlicensed operation.

It is alleged that Gomez-Gomez almost struck a female on Macedon Center Road due to driving erratically.

Gomez-Gomez was located and deputies initiated standardized field sobriety testing. He failed roadside testing and was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where he submitted a chemical test, yielding a .14% BAC.

He is due to appear before the Town of Macedon Court at a later date.
