Deputies report the arrest of a Williamson woman following an investigation into a family trouble complaint in Wayne County.
According to a news release, Brittany Ordway, 28, of Williamson was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, reckless endangerment, and harassment.
The charges stem from a family trouble complaint where Ordway argued with a person, then struck them with an open hand. She then struck the person a second time with a closed fist before grabbing a butcher’s knife and waving it at them.
Ordway also threw the knife, striking the victim in the chest with the handle.
