Elderly Americans in the state of New York could see stimulus payments worth $200 before the end of 2022 if they meet certain criteria.
The legislation was passed in Onondaga County.
The plan is to help seniors that had a hard time paying their bills.
The cost of the stimulus payments is around $5.5 million dollars, and it will come out of the county’s $200 million dollar balance.
