The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Brandon Biro to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $762,500, the team announced Friday.
Biro spent most of the 2021-22 season with the Rochester Americans, where he produced 41 points on 12 goals and 29 assists in 48 games.
The 24-year-old made his NHL debut with Buffalo on February 23. After just one game, he was sent back to Rochester and sustained an injury that kept him sidelined until mid-April.
Biro joined the Sabres organization as an undrafted free agent in 2020 after completing a four-year career at Penn State.
Biro has notched 46 points in 63 career AHL games since 2020.
