Thousands of Americans in the state of New Jersey will soon see payments worth up to $4,000 in stimulus aid.
About 500,000 Americans in the state will qualify.
This is part of the Excluded New Jerseyans Fund.
This is a $40 million dollar program that pays undocumented immigrants who didn’t qualify for federal stimulus aid.
Single applicants will see $2,000 stimulus payments while families who make under $55,000 will see $4,000.
Application acceptance ended Feb. 28, 2022.
Payments of $350 per month under federal plan possible for millions of Americans
530 were rejected as of Feb. 18, 2022.
Extra funding was used from the American Rescue Plan to try to make it stretch for all eligible applicants.
It was believed that $40 million was mot enough to support 500,000 residents.

Other states are giving stimulus payments as well.
250,000 Oregon residents were hoping to see payments worth $2,000, but was scaled down.
The payments discussed went from $2,000, to $1,200, to $1,000, and finally to $600.
These payments are for for unemployed residents that went back to work.
