An Ontario County man was charged after Canandaigua police said he broke into a city business and stole items Sept. 6.
Police arrested 39-year-old Joseph A. Legrett on one count each of third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief.
The department did not identify the business or specify what was taken.
Police said Legrett was processed without incident.
He was then taken to centralized arraignment pending court proceedings.
