Recall: Intimidator and Mahindra UTV recalled for crash hazard

Two utility vehicles are being recalled by Intimidator following reports of crash hazards.

Recall issued on Intimidator and Mahindra branded Classic 750 UTV

The recall was issued on June 9, 2022.

A remedy to repair the issue is being offered to owners of impacted vehicles.

Why are these UTVs being issued a recall?

On the impacted models, the throttle cable may freeze at low temperatures.

This will cause the brakes to fail so the vehicle won’t stop, potentially causing a crash.

In addition to this issue, on some Model Year 2022 Intimidator GC1K vehicles there is another issue.

The onboard software doesn’t stop drivers from going over 15 miles per hour if the seatbelt isn’t buckled.
