Recall: Nautilus treadmills recalled due to fall hazard

Nautilus Inc. has issued a recall on their treadmills due to the risk of falling and injury.

The recall was issued June 9, 2022.

The treadmills can start by themselves, posing the risk of falling to anyone trying to use it.

Around 7,300 treadmills are impacted from the issue.

Which treadmills were issued a recall?

Model number T616 with serial numbers 100672PRO21140001 through 100672PRO21171980 are being recalled.

Model number T618 with serial numbers 100647PRO21130111 through 100647PRO21183960 are also being recalled.

You can locate your treadmill’s model number on the plastic shroud found at the front of the walking belt.

The serial number will be on the base frame of the treadmill beneath the belt.

What to do if your treadmill has a recall

If your treadmill is being recalled, stop using it immediately.

You can contact Nautilus and get a USB flash drive which has a software upgrade and instructions to install it.

The USB will be shipped for free to anyone who purchased a treadmill impacted directly from the company.

You can contact Nautilus at 800-266-2108 between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

There have been 21 reports of the treadmill starting on its own but no injuries have been reported.

These products have been sold at Best Buy, Walmart, Nautilus.com, and Amazon.

They were sold between April 2021 and Nov. 2021 for around $1,150 for model T616 and around $1,500 for model T618.
