130,000 Tesla’s are being recalled due to overheating causing the touchscreen display to fail.
Even though this company is known for making some of the most popular luxury vehicles they have had a lot of recalls this year.
They have put out 11 different recalls in 2022 and it looks like there is about to be another.
Tesla is now recalling 130,000 cars from multiple different models and years.

The article states that these vehicles may have an overheating issue which causes the center touchscreen display to fail.
If the center screen does not work that means the driver can’t use the backup camera.
Along with not being able to see warning lights or other important information.
The models and years in this recall are listed below
- Model S – 2021, 2022
- Model X – 2021, 2022
- Model 3 – 2022
- Model Y – 2022
These vehicles were sold nationwide.
There have been 59 reported issues that might be related to this Tesla recall.
There have been no reports of accidents or injuries tied to this issue.
Luckily there is an easy fix to this problem.
The electric vehicle maker will provide an over-the-air software update to resolve the issue.
