The company is recalling 7,300 of their Model X crossovers.
This model is defective due to the fact that it’s side airbags could deploy if the windows are open.
50% of Model X’s were made with this issues.
Not one is there an issue with the cars airbags.
But there is also a defect with the Boombox feature.
The boombox plays sounds over the cars external speakers.
The main purpose of these speakers is to help people pedestrians hear the silent car coming.
