Thousands of checks are being sent to Californians under the Golden State I and Golden State II stimulus programs.
This is the most recent batch being sent out.
The programs were launched in 2021 in the state of California.
$1,400 checks going to thousands
Check amounts are between $1,100 and $1,200.
To this point almost 13 million checks worth $9 billion dollars have been sent.
Eligibility for stimulus payments
If your income was below $75,000 and you filed your 2020 taxes by Oct. 15, 2021, you qualify.

This batch has 22,400 Golden State Stimulus I checks and 50,400 Golden State II checks, according to The Sun.
Most of the checks are going to people that filed amended non-resident tax returns.
This batch was issued on April 22.
Direct deposits will show up in a few days while paper checks can take up to three weeks.
Another batch will go out next month.
This batch is expected to be much smaller.
Many of these are reissuances for things like address changes or incorrect spelling of the name.
