These ground beef products are being recalled.

Beef recall due to E.coli.

Almost 2,000 Walmart stores are recalling these ground beef products.

Due to possible E. colie contamination.

With the weather getting nicer more people have purchases meats to grill.

If you have purchased any ground beef in the past couple of months you’ll want to keep reading.

On April 25, 2022 120,872 pounds of ground beef were recalled.

This is due to a possible E. colie 0103 contamination.

These beef products were made from February 2022 through April 8, 2022.

And were sold under the following brand names

  • Weis
  • Marketside Butcher
  • Tajima
  • SEG
  • Nature’s Reserve
  • Thomas Farms

The beef was sold at the followings stores

  • Walmart
  • Winn-Dixie
  • Whole Foods
  • Target

The store hit the hardest is Walmart 1,350 stores spread across 17 states were affected.

If you have purchased any of these foods do not eat them.

Throw them away or return them to the store of purchase.

What is E.coli?

E.coli is a bacteria that effects the intestines.

A person can become infected with E. coli after eating or drinking contaminated water.

In this case it would be from eating the recalled beef.

Side effects include

  • Severe stomach cramps
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Fever

Most people tend to get better within 5 to 7 days.
