Police say a Painted Post resident was arrested on a sex charge.
According to a news release, the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler Button, 18, of Painted Post for rape.
It is alleged that Button had sexual intercourse with a female victim who was under the age of 17.
Button is due to appear before the Town of Orange Court at a later date to answer charges.
