The Rochester Americans fell to the Cleveland Monsters, 4-2, on Saturday evening at the Blue Cross Arena.
Rochester scored the first two goals of the game, but after that Cleveland scored four unanswered to secure the victory.
Lukas Rousek scored his first career AHL goal while Brandon Biro also tallied for the Amerks. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped 22-of-25 shots.
Trey Fix-Wolansky, Tyler Sikura, Roman Ahcan and Justin Scott found the back of the net for the Monsters while Cam Johnson turned aside 32-of-34 shots.
Rochester finished 1-for-4 on the power play and 1-for-2 on the penalty kill.
The two teams will meet again on Sunday at 3 p.m. as the Amerks play their third game in three days.
