The trial for the Canandaigua man accused in the 2020 murder of Tyler McBain began on Monday, April 11 in Oneida County Court.
Travon Golden, 24, of Canandaigua, is charged with felony second-degree murder in the August 4, 2020 shooting death of 22-year-old Tyler McBain, according to Daily Messenger. McBain was fatally wounded after being shot inside his Oneida Castle apartment. Golden also faces first and third degree felony robbery charges.

Golden’s alleged accomplice Romero Collier, 25, of Syracuse, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree and second-degree murder in his trial last September.
