The Syracuse Crunch won their third straight game on Wednesday night with a 4-2 victory over the Springfield Thunderbirds at Massmutual Center.
Springfield scored the first two goals of the game, but then Syracuse scored four unanswered, including three in the second period to secure the win.
Gabriel Dumont scored twice while Gemel Smith and Riley Nash also tallied. Max Lagace turned aside 23-of-25 shots.
Mathias Laferriere and Dakota Joshua found the back of the net for Springfield while Charlie Lindgren stopped 24-of-27 shots.
Syracuse finished 0-for-3 on the power play and a perfect 2-for-2 on the penalty kill.
The Crunch will be back in action on Friday night when they take on the Utica Comets at the Adirondack Bank Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
