Los Angeles County’s newest UBI program is accepting applications, but there are only two days left to apply.
The deadline to apply for the “Breathe” program is April 13, 2022.
The applicants chosen at random will see $1,000 per month for three years.
This means they’ll get $36,000 in all.

How to qualify for the UBI program
There are a few requirements you must meet before you’ll be considered for the program.
They include
- Being 18 or older
- If single, a household income at or below 100% of the AMI for LA
- If the household has 2+ members, the income must be at or below 120% of the AMI
- One person per household
- Proof you were impacted by COVID-19 financially
- You cannot be collect UBI income from other programs
