The Foundation for the Geneva Public Library’s spring book sale begins Monday.
The Foundation’s Deb Brewer says the prices start out low and get lower.
Next week is bag sale week. Monday through Wednesday it’s five dollars for as many books as you can fit into a bag and Thursday and Friday, it’s two dollars a bag. This year, a donor has provided a number of French language books, both French works and English works translated to French. The foundation is the fundraising arm for the library. The foundation’s Spike Herzig says one of the main fundraising goals this spring is to purchase updated computers and software.
Sale hours are Monday through Friday 9-7 and Saturday 9-2. We’ll speak with new library Director Pauline Shostack on an upcoming episode of the Inside the FLX. You can listen to our Inside the FLX conversation with Spike Herzig and Deb Brewer below.
