The Rochester Americans snapped a three-game skid with a 4-3 victory over the Utica Comets on Wednesday night at the Blue Cross Arena.
Jack Quinn recorded a three-point night for the Amerks with a goal and two assists. Michael Mersch netted two goals and Jimmy Schuldt also tallied for Rochester.
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen turned aside 30-of-33 shots to earn the win.
A.J. Greer provided all of the offense for Utica as he notched a hat trick.
Akira Schmid stopped 19-of-23 shots in the loss.
Rochester finished 2-for-3 on the power play and 2-for-3 on the penalty kill.
The Amerks will head to Cleveland on Friday to face the Monsters at 7 p.m.
