The Syracuse Crunch rolled past the Rochester Americans, 5-1, on Saturday night at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
Syracuse jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back as the Amerks just couldn’t generate enough offense.
Riley Nash and Charles Hudon each scored twice for the Crunch. Anthony Richard also netted a goal in the win.
Max Lagace made 26 saves and picked up his 100th career victory.
Arttu Ruotsalainen scored the lone goal for the Amerks.
Aaron Dell stopped 32-of-36 shots in the loss.
Syracuse finished 1-for-3 on the power play and Rochester went 0-for-2.
The Crunch don’t play again until next Friday when they head to Utica to face the Comets.
