The Buffalo Sabres have assigned forward Brandon Biro to the Rochester Americans, the team announced on Friday.
Biro was recalled on Tuesday and made his NHL debut on Wednesday against the Montreal Canadiens.
Forwards Kyle Okposo and Victor Olofsson are expected to return to the lineup on Friday, head coach Don Granato announced.
The 23-year-old has recorded 36 points (9+27) in 39 games with Rochester this season.
