The Syracuse Crunch defeated the Rochester Americans, 6-3, on Saturday night at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
Crunch goaltender Amir Miftakhov turned aside 27-of-30 shots to earn the victory. Aaron Dell stopped 25-of-30 shots for the Amerks.
Rochester went 3-for-5 on the power play while Syracuse finished 1-for-4.
Gage Goncalves, Remi Elie, Daniel Walcott, Gabriel Fortier, Charles Hudon and Gabriel Dumont all scored for the Crunch.
Ryan Scarfo, Oskari Laaksonen and Brandon Biro tallied for the Amerks.
Rochester will try to snap their two-game skid on Sunday afternoon when they host the Laval Rocket.
Syracuse takes on the Belleville Senators on Monday afternoon.
