The Rochester Americans dropped their second straight game on Saturday afternoon as they fell, 5-2, to the Toronto Marlies at Coca-Cola Coliseum.
Amerks goaltender Mat Robson turned aside 26-of-30 shots. Michael Hutchinson stopped 30-of-32 to earn the win for the Marlies.
Rochester went 1-for-3 on the power play while Toronto finished 1-for-4.
Brett Murray and Peter Tischke scored for the Amerks.
Nick Robertson scored twice for the Marlies while Alex Biega, Mac Hollowell and Joey Anderson also notched goals.
The Amerks return home to face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Wednesday. Face-off is slated for 7:05 p.m.
