Sabres add six players to taxi squad

Forwards Brandon Biro, Brett Murray, JJ Peterka and Arttu Ruotsalainen, and defensemen Oskari Laaksonen and Jimmy Schuldt have been reassigned from the Rochester Americans to the Buffalo Sabres taxi squad, the team announced Tuesday.

Peterka made his NHL debut with the Sabres this season and has appeared in two games. With Rochester, he has 31 points (8+23) in 31 games.

Ruotsalainen has four points (2+2) in 18 games with the Sabres this season while Murray has six points (2+4) in 19 NHL games this year.

Biro is fourth on the Amerks in scoring with 25 points (6+19).

Laaksonen leads Rochester defensemen in points with 23 (3+20) in 33 games. Schuldt has five points (1+4) in 22 games for the Amerks.

Buffalo will face the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night. Face-off is set for 10 p.m.
