Deputies say a Macedon man was found walking up Canandaigua Road in Walworth barefoot after a crash. Now, he faces DWI and other charges.
According to a news release, Charles Rodgers Jr., 33, of Macedon was arrested after the crash.
It’s alleged that Rodgers operated his vehicle north on Canandaigua Road before losing control and crashing into a snow bank on the west side of the road.
Rodgers was located by a passerby walking in the middle of the road barefoot and not properly dressed for the frigid conditions.
Following field sobriety tests Rodgers was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was found to have a BAC of 0.19%. He was charged with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, unreasonable speed, DWI, and aggravated DWI.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
