A routine traffic stop in Ontario County led to a drug charge against a Stanley woman early Tuesday morning.
Deputies stopped a vehicle on Harlowe Lane near Collett Road in the Town of Farmington and identified passenger Morgan M. Hey, 34, during the roadside investigation.
Authorities said further investigation revealed Hey was in possession of cocaine, leading to a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
She was issued an appearance ticket and is expected to answer the charge in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
