A Sempronius man was arrested earlier this month following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested 53-year-old Lewis H. Rosekrans on April 3 after investigating a reported incident in March involving a female victim.
Authorities said the investigation determined Rosekrans forcibly touched the victim in an unwanted manner, leading to a misdemeanor charge of forcible touching.
He was arraigned in CAP Court, where bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. Rosekrans later posted bail and was released pending further proceedings.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Owasco Court.
