The Buffalo Sabres have placed goaltender Aaron Dell on waivers, the team announced Saturday.
Dell received a three-game suspension on Wednesday for his hit on Ottawa Senators forward Drake Batherson.
It has been a rough season for the 32-year-old as he has struggled in his NHL action. He has just one win in 12 games with the Sabres this season while posting a 4.03 GAA and a save percentage of just .893.
