The Rochester Americans scored with just seven seconds remaining in regulation to defeat the Syracuse Crunch, 2-1, on Friday night at the Blue Cross Arena.
Crunch goaltender Amir Miftakhov turned aside 20-of-22 shots. Mat Robson stopped 25-of-26 shots for the Amerks.
Alex Green scored the lone goal for Syracuse.
Ryan MacInnis scored both of Rochester’s goals, which included the game-winner with seven seconds left in the game.
The Crunch host the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday night while the Amerks host the Utica Comets.
