The Buffalo Sabres have reassigned defenseman Casey Fitzgerald from the Rochester Americans to the taxi squad, the team announced Thursday.
The 24-year-old made his NHL debut on December 17 and has appeared in four games with the Sabres this season, tallying one assist. He has nine points (4+5) in 27 games with the Amerks.
