The Rochester Americans (20-12-2-1) five-game point streak came to an end on Saturday afternoon with a 7-3 loss to the Cleveland Monsters (13-12-4-3) at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
JJ Peterka scored his eighth goal of the season and tallied two assists, Linus Weissbach also notched his eighth while Michael Mersch recorded his 18th.
Brandon Biro, Ethan Prow and Ryan Scarfo each picked up an assist for the Amerks as well.
Goaltender Charles Williams turned aside 20-of-25 shots in his second appearance with Rochester. Jet Greaves made 31 saves for Cleveland.
Brendan Guance and Trey Fix-Wolansky both finished with hat tricks for the Monsters.
The Amerks return home for a four-game homestand that starts Friday, January 28 against the Syracuse Crunch.
