One state is offering to pay a stimulus check worth $7,500 to remote workers willing to relocate next month.
The funds are available through the New Remote Worker Grant. It will benefit individuals that move to Vermont to become full time residents while they work for an out-of-state employer after Feb. 1, 2022.
Grants are also available through the Relocating Worker program.

How to qualify for the $7,500 remote worker stimulus check
Certain criteria needs to be met in order to qualify for the program.
Potential recipients need to be working full time, pay Vermont income taxes, and make $13.39 or more per hour.
How to qualify for the relocating worker stimulus check
The relocation grant is similar, but its intent is to bring individuals to reside in the state as well as work there.
This grant is available to anyone who relocates to Vermont from anywhere else in the country after July 1, 2021.
