A dog may have saved its owner’s life in Aurelius Wednesday.
The Citizen reports Aurelius and Cayuga firefighters were called out Wednesday to a house fire on Route 90 at about 2AM. Aurelius Fire Chief David Perkins said a dog awakened the sleeping tenant of the home. Neither was hurt. It took about ten minutes to put out the fire.
Most of the damage was in the garage and the living room end of the house, according to Perkins.
