Auburn’s Casey Park skate park to receive $250K in state funding

Wednesday, as a public meeting was being held to discuss design plans for renovations to the skate park at Casey Park in Auburn came word that the project would receive $250,000 in New York State Consolidated Funding.

Auburn City Clerk Chuck Mason says over 70 people attended the meeting, spanning the generations.

He says those who attended the meeting made it clear they want to keep the most popular design elements of the current park, while updating and adding new features.
