State Police in Auburn arrested a Sterling woman in connection with an identity theft complaint.
On December 13, 2021, at approximately 9:40 a.m., troopers out of SP Auburn arrested Crystal A. Sanders, age 43, of Sterling for Petit Larceny and Identity Theft 3rd degree. The arrest was the conclusion to an identity theft complaint that was originally reported on June 16, 2021, in Fair Haven, NY. That’s where a second suspect, Shawn M. Sanders, age 42, of Sterling had previously been arrested on November 19, 2021, and charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree and Identity Theft 1st degree.
Crystal Sanders was issued appearance tickets and is due to return to Oswego County Court on a date in late December.
