The Branchport man who killed his mother at her Dresden home several years ago will spend 24 years in prison.
Judge Jason Cook sentenced Paul Khouzam to 24-years-to-life in prison, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Khouzam was on probation at the time of the attack. His mother, Dr. Magda Daoud, died months after the attack from injuries sustained in it.
He was also sentenced for violating probation.
