Specific employees can expect to see a check worth anywhere from $500 to $1,000 ahead of the holiday.
The bonus stimulus checks are headed to residents in 8 different states thanks to their local governments.
Many states have programs now to help still-struggling Americans that haven’t recovered from the pandemic.

Over 400,000 families have already received state stimulus checks, with many more still waiting.
Families are also awaiting their final child tax credit payment which is set to come Dec. 15.
The following states are offering eligible residents a chance at $500 to $1,000 dollars in stimulus cash
Arizona has a back to work program that will pay between $1,000 and $2,000 dollars.

Those eligible must have returned to work between May 13 and Sept. 6 as well as worked for 8 weeks to get the $2,000.
Bonuses are awarded for people that stopped getting unemployment and completed requirements laid out by their employer.
Those that return to work part time are eligible for $1,000.
At the moment all payments are made to people via direct deposit.
California is sending out their second round of Golden State Stimulus checks right now.
Half of all eligible residents have already received theirs. Around 9 million people are eligible for the payments.
Residents making between $30,000 and $75,000 per year are eligible for $600 to $1,100 payments.
Connecticut has a back to work program of its own that started May 30 and ends Dec. 31.

To be eligible it depends on how long you collected unemployment for as well as when you applied. You must also be employed to qualify.
Maryland gave out a $300 check to its residents that filed for the Earned Income Tax Credit. If eligible people had a dependent they were given $500.
Michigan gave their teachers and school support staff $500 in hazard pay.
Detroit school district gave teachers that remained in person $2,000. Teachers that worked both in person and online got an additional $2,000.
Tennessee are giving full time teachers $1,000 and part time employees at schools $500 if they worked from Oct. 1 to Dec. 17.

Those who stay between January and March of 2022 will be eligible for another $500. Anyone that works from January to May of 2022 will get another $500.
Employees that are hired now through Dec. will be eligible for the second part of the bonus.
Some school districts in Texas have decided to pay their teachers bonuses ranging from $500 to $2,000 depending on the district.
Other schools opted to give their teachers pay raises.
Vermont is willing to cover up to $7,500 in moving expenses for anyone relocating due to losing their job in the hospitality or construction industry.
