750,000 stimulus checks went out today totaling $555 million dollars, is one yours?

More Californians can expect stimulus aid from their state starting today.

The latest batch of the Golden State Stimulus II checks went out Monday, Nov. 29.

The previous batch was sent Nov. 15. 750,000 checks went out then as well.

9 million residents in total can expect the aid.

Residents who qualify will see as little as $500 and as much as $1,100.

How do I qualify and when will I get my check?

In order to get the check, you need to make between $1 and $75,000.

This counts as tips, wages, self-employment income, interest, dividends, rental income, retirement, and gain from selling a property.

For the 2020 tax year your wages must be between $0 and $75,000.

Eligible people may not be claimed by another taxpayer.

Your taxes needed to be filed by Oct. 15 for 2021.

If Social Security is your only form of income you will not qualify.

Payments began in Sept. as direct deposit and now checks will continue to be sent until the beginning of 2022.

This latest round is for people who’s zip codes end in 585-719.


Starting Dec. 13 through Dec. 31 checks will be sent for people with zip codes ending in 720-927.

The last round will start Dec. 27 and go until Jan. 11, 2022 for zip codes ending in 928-999.

If you did not file taxes until Sept. or Oct. you may need to wait longer.
